Hadith 4 The Week.

Harapan.

Daripada Abu Hurairah ra, Rasulullah S.A.W bersabda, "Barangsiapa memutuskan harapan orang yang berharap kepadanya, Allah S.W.T akan memutuskan harapannya pada Hari Kiamat, maka hidupnya tidak diberkati."

Berilah harapan untuk mereka yang memerlukan. =)

Assalamualaikum, semoga kalian semua berada dalam rahmat Allah. Marilah sama-sama kita meminta kehadrat Allah swt mudah-mudahan kita semua disampaikan ke dalam Bulan Ramadan tahun ini yang tidak lama lagi.

Mari kita semua mengetahui sejarah dan juga kepentingan Bulan Ramadan dalam kehidupan kita seharian.

Di dalam Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 183 yang bermaksud,
“Wahai orang-orang yang beriman, diwajibkan atas kamu berpuasa sebagaimana diwajibkan atas orang-orang sebelum kamu agar kamu bertaqwa.”

“fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may become pious.”

Disambungkan selepasnya ayat 184 yang bermaksud,
“(yaitu) dalam beberapa hari yang tertentu.......... dan berpuasa lebih baik bagimu jika kamu mengetahui.”

Ramadan adalah Bulan yang ke-9 dalam Bulan Qamariyah (Hijriyah), makna asalnya adalah ‘panas yang sangat terik’. Dinamakan demikian kerana pada ketika itu, kebiasaannya cuaca amatlah panas. Sempena dengan nama ini, maka Ramadan bererti “membakar dan melebur segala kekotoran dosa orang yang berpuasa dan menghayati bulan mulia ini dengan pelbagai ibadah yang dikhaskan dalamnya.

Rasulullah saw pernah bersabda yang bermaksud:
“Bulan Ramadan itu ialah bulan kesabaran dan ganjaran kesabaran ialah masuk syurga.”

Dan juga daripada Abu Hurairah ra
Nabi saw bersabda,” Puasa adalah pelindung daripada neraka. Sekiranya seseorang daripada kamu sedang berpuasa pada suatu hari, maka janganlah bercakap kotor dan janganlah menengking. Jika seseorang mencela atau ingin bergaduh dengannya, katakanlah: “Sesungguhnya aku berpuasa”.” Hadis Riwayat Bukhari dan Muslim

Dengan selesainya Ramadan, maka orang yang berpuasa dan juga yang menghidupkan bulan ini akan menjadi suci bersih, kembali kepada Fitrah (‘Idul Fitri) seperti seorang bayi yang baru dilahirkan oleh ibunya.

Ibadah yang boleh diamalkan pada Bulan Ramadan adalah:
1) Menunaikan Solat Terawih berjemaah
2) Mengaji atau bertadarus Al-Quran sendirian atau beramai-ramai
3) Bangun Malam, (Qiamullail)
4) Bersahur
5) Membuat amal kebajikan (mencari ilmu, membantu orang dan dll)
6) Menunaikan Zakat
7) Dan bermacam-macam amalan yang bermanfaat.

Hormatilah orang-orang yang berpuasa dan tinggalkanlah maksiat (perkara yang tidak
baik), meninggalkan kejahatan itu sedekah (berpahala).

Ringkasan mengenai RAMADAN

1) Ramadan = Ertinya “Panas Terik”
2) Bulan diturunkan Al-Quran (Nuzul Quran)
3) Didalamnya dipilih Malam Al-Qadr (Lailatul Qadr) yakni sesuatu malam yang lebih baik daripada 1000 bulan= 83 tahun++
4) Dipilih untuk umat Nabi Muhammad berpuasa.
5) Dipilih untuk lain-lain ibadat.

Sebelum mengakhiri keterangan Ramadan ini, marilah sama-sama hormati bulan yang
Suci ini dan jadikan Ramadan ini, Ramadan yang terbaik. Untuk lebih mendalami Bulan
Ramadan, datanglah Kelas pada Hari Ahad ini 31 Ogos 2008 yang akan disampaikan oleh penceramah khas.

Ingatlah, Rasulullah saw bersabda, “Sekiranya umatku mengetahui tentang kelebihan
Bulan Ramadan, nescaya ia akan berhasrat sepanjang tahun dijadikan Bulan Ramadan.”

Here's an article from Islomophobia.org. Remember the question about Islamophobia that was asked during class on Sunday (17th August 2008)?
Well, it was me who asked it (Sharina). I realise that you guys dont see the seriousness of the situation on the world, and though there are moments that
you can laugh and joke in class, Islamophobia is a very very REAL issue in the world, and as Muslims, i feel that you should be aware of it.

Islamophobia is a neologism used to refer to an irrational fear or prejudice towards Muslims and the religion of Islam.
Some believe that prejudice against Muslims has increased since the September 11, 2001 attacks. Dr Abduljalil Sajid, an adviser to the Commission on British Muslims, an anti-racism group, has said he believes many organizations are "institutionally Islamophobic". He has said that "since the 11 September attacks the single most important concern has been police harassment of Muslims. Even one of (Britain's) Muslim peers... has been stopped twice by police." [1]
Many human rights organizations have documented this recent increase in Islamophobic events and hate crimes against Muslims [2] and Islamic organizations have done the same [3]. Secretary-General Kofi Annan told a December 7, 2004 UN conference on the emergence of Islamophobia that "(when) the world is compelled to coin a new term to take account of increasingly widespread bigotry — that is a sad and troubling development. Such is the case with 'Islamophobia'." [4]
American journalist Stephen Schwartz has defined Islamophobia as the condemnation of the entirety of Islam and its history as extremist, denying the existence of a moderate Muslim majority, regarding Islam as a problem for the world, treating conflicts involving Muslims as necessarily their own fault, insisting that Muslims make changes to their religion, and inciting war against Islam as a whole.

Plaintiffs were seeking $156 million to the family of a US teenager killed by gunmen in the West Bank in 1996. CAIRO - A US court has overturned a ruling ordering Muslim charities to compensate the family of a US teenager killed in an attack in the West Bank on alleged charges of funding terrorism, reported the Washington Post on Saturday, December 29.
"We must resist the temptation to gloss over error, admit spurious evidence, and assume facts not adequately proved simply to side with the face of innocence and against the face of terrorism," said Judge Ilana Diamond Rovner of the 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals.

Hate crime in a North Sarasota neighbourhood
SARASOTA - The hate crime not only destroyed a house, but also devastated a north Sarasota neighborhood and now deputies want to know who's behind it all. Neighbors say it sounded like a bomb exploded inside the house the windows blew out and the front door came off its hinges. One might think it was just a house fire, but firefighters say spray-paint on the outside of the house raised suspicions the fire was set intentionally.

Assalamualaikum ya all,

Eh, No one wanna update? Haizzz..
Then let me be the one to add some spice to this blog.
Well let me tell you how it all began.
Right from the start..

Well i came to Al-Taqwa with Ridhwan my gay* friend.
When we first came in, i felt that as if both of us are being watch ( Macam paham je ).
I felt that we were like strangers from another planet.
So on that particular day we just acted cool.
As days goes by, we met a few famillar faces.
Like for me, Afro, Rizal ( Which i asked him to joined la), Abdilah, Ros and etc.
I got pretty comfortable there as the Sundays goes by.
Met the lovable,chubby and knowlegdable Ustaz Firdauz.
He is a one fun and funny guy.
Then came in my new buds, Sufiyan, Luqman, Imran, Farhan, Muslihin Izzati, ilyee and ira.
We start off as hellos and good byes but as days goes by, we got really close.
I was nicknamed the rockstar due to long hair.
Why, never seen a guy with long hair eh??? haahahhaa.


I knew the rest of the gang even better on Hafalah.
When every youth had to play a part on that particular day.
Thats when i got to know Hidayat and the gang.
Well most of them that is and things got heat up on the BBQ itself.
We all got to know the bimbo squad ( What Sufiyan calls them )
Adilla, Dallilah, Shaheedah and Azilla. =))
MIMI ROCKSSS!!!!!
Then, we also got to know the others like Sharifah (Amalina), Yuhanis, Nawal, the other Hafiz and etc. ( Not good in remembering names )
The BBQ was a memorable night cause on that day itself, i get so show off my new DSLR CAMERA!!!AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA....:-P
And of cause i was given the honour of being Al- Taqwa Event photographer. haha
Then comes the East coast beach outing.
Damn, we didn't win the lucky draw.
Well at least for those who participate in the telematch, most of them got bags '_'" haha
Then we all got treated to Sakura. All thanks to Ustaz Firdauz
Thats was fun day.

Now i look forward to every Sunday although i do come late.
But still i always look forward to every Sunday of the week.
Never thought that Madrasah could be this much fun yeaa.
The last time i went into one, i didn't skipped leassons but i just snore my way till the lesson ends. The chairs and tables were much more comfortable than before. hahahaha
Well i'm glad that i have a chance to have this experince and to expand my horizon.
I would like to take this opportunity to say sorry to the people if i did something wrong or say anything that might hurt their feeling. I can't wait to know what Taqwa has in store for me and my friends. As an event photographer, i look forward to take pictures and camwhore moments yaaaaa. So thats all i could say for this entry.

Lastly, do send us your thoughts and experience on Taqwa yaaaaa.
Sharifah is begging you guys for an update. =D
